I'm an artist and picture framer, employed at The Drawing Board in Montpelier. I'm also a founding member of The Front, Montpelier's cooperatively run art gallery, which grew out of my studio occupancy of the storefront at 6 Barre Street beginning in 2013.
I'm 38, with no kids; since 2009 I've lived with my partner Kate Stephenson on Prospect Street in Montpelier.
I hold an MFA in sculpture from the New York Studio School, 2009; and a BA in painting from Haverford College, 2001.
In Montpelier, I've worked at The Drawing Board, The Skinny Pancake and the old Rhapsody Cafe. I worked as a kitchen manager for the Center for Whole Communities when it was hosted at Knoll Farm in Fayston. Outside Vermont, I've been employed in large-scale kitchens at the Pendle Hill retreat center and the Beacon Hill Friends House, an intentional community. I worked briefly as a studio assistant to Nancy Selvage, a sculptor in the Boston area.
Here's a video of my conversation with Richard Sheir of ORCA Media.
And here's the recent candidate forum at the Montpelier Senior Activity Center.
